First central MA President leads LPDAM in its 15 year anniversary

WEST BOYLSTON, MA (April, 2005)—Worcester County private investigator and Sterling resident, John M. Lajoie, BCPI, CCDI, CLI, CII, owner of Lajoie Investigations, Inc., one of the largest investigative agencies in Massachusetts , was elected and installed as the 15th President of the Licensed Private Detectives Association of Massachusetts (LPDAM) on April 3rd, 2006.  Lajoie, a Charter Member of LPDAM and member of their Board of Directors, is the first licensed private detective located west of the I-495 corridor to be elected as the LPDAM President.

The LPDAM objectives and purpose is to promote and encourage professionalism in the detective profession and advance professional ethics in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, to advance the ethical, educational, and social standing of the membership of the association, and to promote cooperation between its membership and allied law enforcement professionals. There are over 800 licensed private detectives in Massachusetts and many more who work under licensees.

Lajoie’s platform message was simple and clear: “to build bridges to a new future by focusing on the positive aspects of our profession, supporting our association and that of our brother and sister organizations, educating our members, and enhancing the credibility, good will, and professional reputation of the Massachusetts licensed private detective in everything we do.”
